The Value Comfort Plan covers many things that typically go wrong with your system and includes our annual Top 10 Tune-up to increase your system's longevity and performance! Your boiler or furnace will be tuned up annually to ensure maximum efficiency of your heating system. We will:

  • Change nozzle and flush fuel line.
  • Check primary control and safety timing.
  • Clean or change oil filter.
  • Oil and check burner fan, fan motor, shaft bearings and adjust drive belt, if necessary.
  • Check smoke pipe and chimney base.
  • Check air filters and replace, if necessary.
  • Check fuel pump, clean strainer, check pump pressure; check bellows, if applicable.
  • Check transformer voltage and inspect.
  • Check and clean firing assembly.
  • Check furnace draft for proper operation.

Other Services

  • Test and adjust oil burner for maximum efficiency, using BacharachTM testing equipment.
  • Inspect combustion chamber.
  • Check oil tank and lines, where accessible.

Genesee will repair or replace during the term of this Service Plan, with no charge for parts or labor, any of the following items, which may become defective due to normal use or wear and tear. All parts in bold were not covered previously.
